Colgate-Palmolive is partnering once again with the Starlight Children's Foundation to help seriously ill children cope with the pain, fear and isolation that often accompanies serious illnesses, such as Sickle Cell Disease.
During this year's "Show the Love" campaign, Colgate-Palmolive will donate Starlight Fun Center™ mobile entertainment units to this year's all 11 participating hospitals. The top 3 hospitals that receive the most online votes by 12pm (EST), February 27, 2009 will receive a second Starlight Fun Center™. This year, Colgate-Palmolive is awarding all 11 participating hospitals a Starlight Fun Center™ — a mobile entertainment unit that kids can enjoy at their bedside or anywhere in a hospital setting.
At the end of voting period, the 3 hospitals that receive the most online votes will receive a second Starlight Fun Center™. That's double the fun and laughter among children undergoing treatment for chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
