Basic Brunch |

Day one. Check your pantry to see what
ingredients you have and which you need to buy. Add any
beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, to the grocery list.
Day two. Go shopping. Make sure you have
everything you need in the house. Pull out your serving
pieces and put a note on each serving piece to designate
what food goes on with each dish.
Day three. Call your guests to confirm
your head count. Set your table in advance and plan on your
centerpiece. If you are using home-grown flowers, wait until
that morning to pick and display them. Or call and order
flowers from your local florist.
Day four. Prep any raw vegetables or dishes
in advance. Designate your serving area or table. Make sure
there is an easy access for you and your guests.
Day five. Make sure the flower arrangements
are all set. Have your plates and rolled silverware placed
on your serving table. Put out any condiments you may need.
Make sure you have enough ice.
