Sausage Gravy
and
Biscuits
(Serves 4)
For a quick and easy biscuit, try frozen
biscuits straight from your freezer to your table and always
the perfect portion!
Turkey Sausage
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon finely minced sage
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation
Using your hands, knead all the ingredients
together. Form into patties or loaf, refrigerate at least
1 hour and up to 24 hours. (If not used immediately, fresh
sausage can be frozen for up to 2 months).
In a nonstick or iron skillet over medium heat, add one
tablespoon olive oil and patties, cook for about 3-4 minutes
on each side, until browned and cooked through.

Ingredients
Turkey sausage, cooked
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup chicken stock
11/2 cups fat-free evaporated milk
1/4 cup water
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon fresh sage, optional
