Blue Ribbon BBQ

 

 

Peach Shortcake

                  (Serves 5)

 

Ingredients

 

1 can (10.2 oz, 5 biscuits) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cans (15 to 16 oz) sliced peaches in syrup, drained, leaving about 1/4 cup liquid
1 cup frozen whipped topping, or your favorite ice cream


 






Preparation

Heat oven to 375 F. Separate dough into 5 biscuits. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle sugar on top of biscuits. Bake 11 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool biscuits 5 minutes. To serve, split biscuits; layer with peaches, juice and whipped topping.
