Pre-date Prep – To save on kitchen time, prepare the Baby Spinach salad and the Mocha Torte the night before the event. Before preparing the lamb, be sure that it is at room temperature. Ice-cold meat takes longer to cook. The lamb should be taken out at least two hours before cooking time.

Lovely Libations – The right wine can really enhance the meal – taking it from good to great. With lamb, a nice Chardonnay will really add that extra zing to your presentation.

Set the Mood – The day before the event, pick up a few candles and some flowers to decorate your romantic setting, you can also set the table beforehand and hide a special love note under the plate for your date.

The Couple that Cooks Together – Preparing food is a bonding experience. Have your date tie on an apron and assist you in the kitchen. It will make the meal even more special.
