All of the signs are there. You have chronic bad breath. But, how did you get it? You brush your teeth twice a day. You stay away from onion rings at lunch. It’s a mystery. Actually, there are many different things that can be the cause of bad breath. Respiratory tract infections, sinus infections, certain medications and reflux disease are among a few of the causes of bad breath. If you do have an infection, the clues should be apparent. Are your lymph nodes swollen? Do you have a sore throat? What about a mucus-producing cough? Are you on medication for this infection? Many medications can cause dry mouth which is a source of bad breath. If not, it’s time to do some real digging and visit the dentist or your physician.
