What is the proper technique for washing hands? How long do I have to wash my hands to give them antibacterial protection?

According to the American Public Health Association, the proper hand-washing technique is: using warm running water and soap, lather up for 20 seconds (rub lather all over, in between fingers and under nails), rinse well and dry.

How often do I have to wash my hands to keep them free of germs?

Softsoap® BRAND soaps reduce the number of germs on your hands but do not completely leave them free of germs.

Are Softsoap® BRAND containers recyclable?

All Softsoap® BRAND pumps and bottles are coded for recycling.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All of our products are tested for a shelf life of a minimum of two years from the date of manufacture. However, we do recommend using the product within one year of opening it to guarantee freshness and efficacy.

How does the Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles liquid hand soap system work?

To begin using the unique decorative soap system, simply select from a range of stylish Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles hand soap pumps (with disposable base). After soap is finished or when you want a new look for kitchen or bathroom, just keep the re-usable pump and switch the base. To switch your base, unscrew pump from used base and insert pump into new base.

I noticed the Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles pump looks different from other liquid hand soap pumps I am used to buying. Is the pump supposed to look different?

Yes, the Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles pump is unlike other liquid hand soap pumps. Its unique pump design features a shorter "stem" that is designed to work only with pre-filled Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles decorative disposable bases to dispense the moisturizing liquid hand soap. Other liquid hand soap pumps tend to feature longer "stems."

Can I use the Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles pump with other liquid hand soap bottles / containers?

No, the Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles pump can only be used only with Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles disposable bases or bottles. Can I refill the decorative bottles or disposable bases for Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles hand soap?

No, Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles disposable bases cannot be refilled. The decorative bottles or disposable bases come pre-filled with Softsoap® BRAND moisturizing liquid hand soap so you do not have to refill. Simply keep the pump and switch the base when soap runs out.

What kind of hand soap is inside the bottle?

Each Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles disposable base is filled with Softsoap® BRAND moisturizing liquid hand soap in a variety of fabulous fragrances.

Can bottles or disposable bases for Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles hand soap be recycled?

Yes, the bottle used for Softsoap® BRAND Ensembles disposable soap bases is made of recyclable HDPE material (recycle symbol #2).

Will new designs be introduced and if so, how often?

Yes, new designs will be introduced to enable consumers to bring home the latest in home décor and design trends. New designs will be introduced a couple times a year.
