Arun lives in Skillman, New Jersey, with his parents and brother. He speaks Telugu and English, and is learning Spanish. Arun enjoys hip-hop music and plays both the flute and recorder. Arun likes that his teacher makes education fun. His favorite subject is science.

When he grows up, he would like to be a dentist. Arun would take a visitor to New York City to see the Statue of Liberty and to go rafting in the water. He wants to go to Orlando, Florida, to see Disney World.

According to Arun, Lebron James is the most interesting celebrity in the United States, and they both share a love of basketball.
