Deenah lives with her mother, father, and brothers. They speak Urdu at home, but Deenah also speaks English and is learning French and Arabic. For fun, she practices piano and gymnastics.

When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher. Deenah’s favorite subject is art, and her favorite part of the school day is...all of it!

If you went for a walk with Deenah in a park near her house, you might see monkeys and snakes. She recommends reading the poems of Allama Iqbal, a poet from Pakistan, because they are very good.
