Duraphat 5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish is indicated for the treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity. It is contraindicated inpatients with ulcerative gingivitis or stomatitis, or known sensitivity to colophony (kolophonium) or other ingredients. Edematous swellings and nausea have been reported in rare instances. In extremely rare instances, attacks of dyspnea have occurred in asthmatic children.
