Parmot lives in a small village, where the people are all very kind. There is much farmland, and the town is hot with lots of fresh air. At home, Parmot speaks Thai or North-Eastern Thai (Esarn language). He is also studying English. His favorite game is hide-and-seek and his favorite holiday is the New Year, when his family comes together for a special meal and a visit to the temple. Parmot loves to draw, paint, watch cartoons, and ride his bicycle with his friends. When he grows up, he would like to become a soldier, policeman, or maybe an astronaut. Parmot is learning the Angkaloong, a Thai musical instrument. He finds the Tapraya National Park to be the most beautiful place. It is about 17 kilometers from his hometown, and it is full of nature and animals like bulls and birds.
