I have never had problems with Colgate before but this time I have been very disappointed by this toothpaste. I don't know if it is because of the baking soda in it but I got my gums, tongue and lips all irritated and painful after brushing my teeth. I used it for the first time on holiday and I thought I caught a bacteria but then, after a week trying another toothpaste (irritations disappeared progressively) and going back to this one to test it, there is no doubt, it is the toothpaste which causes irritations and inflammations ! There might have been a problem of dosage in this specific tube of toothpaste, I don't know, but I would definitely NOT recommend it!

I recieved this toothpaste to test and review and having tried various different whitening toothpastes that never seem to work I wasn’t expecting much from it but I was pleasantly surprised with it. This toothpaste isn’t going to automatically give you brilliant white teeth but having used it for a week I did notice a subtle change in my teeth where there surface stains appeared less noticeable and I’m hoping with continued use they will become less and less. The one downside of this toothpaste is the flavour, it’s not a bad flavour, it’s a mild mint and I prefer a stronger mint because it makes my breath seem fresher but that’s just personal preference.

The texture is slightly less firm than the usual toothpaste texture but allows easy spread and stay of product to clean teeth, tongue and mouth. The minty taste is mild and doesn't linger after brushing and only a small amount is needed for a good clean, even smaller than what I've shown in the attached picture. After using this toothpaste for 2 weeks so far l have noticed a small improvement in the appearance of my teeth in terms of whiteness, l expect this will continue to improve slowly with consistent use- i.e. it "gently whitens teeth". Teeth have a "squeeky clean" feeling even after the first brush and every brush thereafter- leaving teeth feeling polished.

Have been using this for just over a week. Though I have yet to see any difference in the colour of my teeth (slight yellowing from coffee drinking) my teeth do feel cleaner for much longer during the day. I'm used to a minty aftertaste this toothpaste doesn't have that but it is not unpleasant aftertaste. I will keep using this as I like the longer clean feeling and hopefully I may see a difference in the colour of my teeth overtime.

I have been using the soda whitening toothpaste for quite a while, like so many others Your mouth feels lovely and fresh after brushing. But to be honest I don’t see any change at all to my teeth even starting to whiten. So I will be looking at reviews for a toothpaste that will actually do what it suppose do. I would change it by adding something that works and change the label to fresh breath confidence maybe.

I have been using Colgate Dee clean whitening with baking soda for the past four weeks but have not seen much improvement in the colour of my teeth. Perhaps I will continue using the toothpaste to see if it makes a whitening difference. I wouldn't say I liked it that much that tough because it doesn’t leave fresh breath and feels like I didn’t wash my teeth.

This toothpaste left a long lasting fresh feeling which was great. Great branding on the packaging you definitely knew what you were getting. However unsure if the whitening effects were as prominent as I had hoped. But this may be because I already use a whitening toothpaste. Overall great toothpaste, great flavour, long lasting fresh breath!!
