If you want fresh feeling and smelling teeth and gums this toothpaste is a must. The first time I tried Colgate total active prevention deep clean toothpaste I could only describe it as a similar feeling to using that certain “tingly mint and tree tree shower gel” but in my mouth. And that freshness latest hours. My teeth feel cleaner, look whiter and brighter and feel like day to day coffee staining and general roughness has gone. I usually use the same branded toothpaste each time but I’m converted to this now. This was a free tester but more than happy to buy this full price as i feel it is worth it.

It’s a nice regular toothpaste that I am quite neutral about. What I really like is that is not strong like some other to burn my mouth, but nice and fresh. Like the packaging as well. I have hard to reach areas and didn’t feel huge difference. It leaves your teeth nice and clean. As I mentioned, didn’t feel any difference from other when it comes to deep clean. Overall, good everyday toothpaste.

Very good toothpaste. It has a very pleasant taste, nice consistency, it is easy to apply. It keeps teeth clean, removes discoloration and freshens breath. Not only me but my whole family has a good opinion about it. I think it will stay with us for a long time. And its main advantage is 24-hour antibacterial protection. Which is very important for my family because it is a guarantee of healthy teeth. The benefits, and there are many of them, of using this paste are clinically confirmed, which makes it an ideal paste. Modern packaging and low price are definitely a plus. I sincerely recommend it.

I’ve been using Colgate Total Active Prevention+ Deep Clean for a while now, and I’m really impressed with it. It leaves my mouth feeling super fresh and clean all day long. Colgate Total Active Prevention + Deep Clean After iust a few uses, my teeth felt noticeably smoother, and the fresh feeling lasted a long time. The toothpaste foams well and gives a nice "deep clean" sensation. I also like the mint flavor - it's refreshing without being too strong.
I didn't experience any irritation, so for me it works perfectly.

Really liked this product, a nice fresh minty scent that didn't leave any bad after taste and it didn't taste clinical either like some toothpastes can, a good toothpaste for looking after you whole mouth health and after using my teeth did feel like they had had a thorough clean like what you'd have at the dentist I would highly recommend.

I’ve been using Colgate Total Active Prevention Deep Clean twice a day, morning and night, and overall I’m very impressed. The toothpaste has a slightly grainy texture, which at first felt unusual but actually gives a satisfying deep-clean sensation, making each brush feel thorough. The flavour is fresh and pleasant—not too strong, not artificial—and leaves my mouth feeling invigorated. I also really like the colour and the design of the tube; it’s appealing, a good size, and while it’s quite large, it’s still convenient to take when travelling. After brushing, my teeth feel squeaky clean, noticeably whiter than before, and my breath stays fresh for hours. This is a great toothpaste.
It has a slightly gritty texture and a minty flavour. It cleans my teeth deeply leaving them both looking and feeling clean. They are left feeling really smooth which I assume has something to do with the gritty texture, and which enhances their clean feeling. I would continue using this toothpaste.

This toothpaste does exactly what it says on the box. It deep cleans your teeth and leaves your breath feeling fresh. It foams just the right amount and has a nice minty flavour to it. I like the fact that it has 24 hours antibacterial action so your mouth always feels clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Increases sensitivity does not reduce it as claime

My dentist gave me a sample. I then bought a full tube. The cleaning was ok.
But…. My sensitivity has increased and worsened when I’d just got rid of it by using the arginine Colgate. I’m disappointed with the toothpastes ability to /claim to prevent and reduce sensitivity despite the increased fluoride.

For years I’ve been using Colgate, it’s my go to brand of choice. The Total Active Protection+ provides a deep clean, with a nice taste that’s not too strong. It’s a good size at 75ml which means I can take it travelling. Oral hygiene is very important and I can trust this to help protect my teeth and gums.

Very nice and minty, refreshing. It took about 2 days to feel like it started working properly and feel that deep clean after that it was just matter of maintaining the cleaning. Nice taste and a little bit goes a long way. Definitely recommend

From the first moment you brush with Colgate Total Active Prevention, you know that this is a premium toothpaste. This product really leaves you mouth feeling clean and protected. I will definitely be buying again. There are some bold claims on the packaging. 3 x more effective at fighting the root cause. 24 hours anti bacterial protection, deep clean formula etc. As I’m not a scientist, I’m unable to vouch for these claims. But what I will say is it tasted great, left my mouth feeling fantastic and the effect lasted all day. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I recently came back from Greece and had the most awful time there. I started using this toothpaste there as I bought a new tube for my holiday. Within a few days my mouth was red raw, I thought maybe I was allergic to something in the food when my lip then swelled up suddenly. I had to cut out almost all food except bread and yoghurt or basic things I knew I always eat and were fine. I have never had any allergies in my life so it was bizarre. It definitely was an allergy because anti histamines worked well to reduce the swelling, although not entirely which confused me as I’d cut out so many foods. I then saw reviews for this toothpaste online and was shocked; I had all the same symptoms as others: raw and sore mouth/ gums, ulcers, lip swelling (to the point where it looked like I had dodgy huge lip fillers). It became apparent why the anti histamines and very restricted diet weren’t improving my symptoms, as I was still being exposed twice per day to this toothpaste. I stopped using it and within 2 days my mouth soreness and swelling completely went away.
