How long will the whitening effect last?

Because tooth staining is mostly caused by the things we eat, drink (tea, coffee, wine), the duration can vary greatly. Using Colgate whitening toothpaste and mouthwash can help prevent new stains from accumulating and can help prolong the whitening effect.

Does the Express Pen cause sensitivity?

This product is designed for no tooth sensitivity, during and after the whitening process. The product has been developed specifically to provide precise application to teeth, so you can avoid applying to the gums. To minimize irritation, avoid contact with gums and soft tissue. Avoid direct contact of the product with the gums and/or salivary flow. If irritation of the gums or mouth occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist. Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If you experience more than mild tooth sensitivity, stop use and consult your dentist.

How should I clean the pen brush?

You do not need to clean the pen, as you can simply immerse it back into the bottle. But if you would like to clean it, simply wipe the bristles with a tissue. Do not use water.

It’s okay

Overall, the pen is fine. I’ve seen results, so it’s not like it’s a product that doesn’t work. However, my results have been subtle. What I don’t like about it is it’s very hard to know if each tooth is getting the right/same amount of product compared to the other teeth around it. Also, even though I have followed the instructions for clean and care after use, the tip has gotten gunky contributing to some applications seeming uneven. I think if you have one or two teeth that are more stained than the rest, you should buy this product to target those specifically. But if you are looking for a product to do a basic whitening for all teeth, I would look elsewhere.

White and Bright in Just One Day!

Thank you, Colgate and Home Tester Club, for allowing me to test out the Colgate Optic White Express Whitening Pen in exchange for my honest review. I tried it out IMMEDIATELY. The pen was very easy to use. I made sure my teeth were dry and the pen provided easy application and excellent coverage. I used it three times the first day as directed. By the next morning, the whitening effect was undeniable! I really love this product. I am so impressed by the results. I totally recommend it to anyone looking for a simple whitening solution. It works so fast! I will definitely buy another Colgate Optic White Express Whitening Pen again in the future. I am totally sold!

Effective teeth whitening product

I am always on the look out for effective teeth whitening products and this one is great. It doesn’t cause any sensitivity, which is huge for me as it’s something I struggle with when using most teeth whitening products. The pen is easy to use and perfect for me because I have veneers on my four front teeth so I can apply it on all but my veneers. As far as the actual whitening, I was surprised that I actually started to notice a difference on the first day. With continued use (as directed), I noticed an even bigger difference. One thing to remember is make sure that your teeth are completely clean and dry before applying. I will continue to use and highly recommend.

The Whitening pen is easy to use

In reviewing the Colgate Whitening Optic White Express pen, I thought the Whitening pen was easy to use, with one dip of treatment per five teeth on the bottom and on top. I had a slight tingling affect on my gums after using, and a white films covers your teeth. I did notice a change in my teeth after day one of treatment, and looked slightly whiter after day two. In my opinion the only downfall in using the Optic White Express pen is the one hour wait time for the treatment to take affect. It's a great pen to use while sitting at home watching TV or while your at work. I would recommend to find family, friends and coworkers. I also would consider purchasing in the future.

The Colgate Express Whitening Pen is simple and quick to use. My son’s teeth are a little bit yellow. First, I let my son’s brush his teeth and dry them. Then, I paint the liquid onto my son’s teeth. After applying, we wait for it to dry. Avoid brushing teeth and eating food. We wiped it off with a tissue. Need to use it for a while to see the difference. I will keeping using it to see what’s happening. It’s perfect for easy touch-ups, especially if you're looking for a low-maintenance way to brighten your smile. However, it may take some time to see strong results, especially on deeper stains. It's convenient for quick whitening, but not as powerful as professional treatments.

Whitens Fast And Easy To Use!

I’ve tried both the Optic White Express and the Optic White Overnight Whitening Pens and this is my favorite. The pen doesn’t cause any sensitivity and is safe on enamel. I really enjoyed the brush on this one! It didn’t harden while I was using it, and was super easy to apply. As long as it didn’t get any on my lips or gums it was great! I like that I can complete this whitening procedure in 4 days. Instead of having to leave it on overnight it’s just 1 hour with 3 sessions daily. This is a great product if you have a special event coming up or just want a brighter smile! I highly recommend this pen!

Easier to Use than the Pen

I recently tried the Colgate Optic White Whitening Wand, and I am thoroughly impressed with the results! The application process is incredibly easy and convenient. I had previously tried the Colgate Whitening Pen and complained about its functionality with having to click the device to dispense the gel and the brush getting gummy. I actually would have preferred separate parts where you dip the brush into the gel then apply. That is exactly what this product is and it works a lot better. Overall, the Colgate Optic White Whitening Wand is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. It’s effective, easy to use, and perfect for maintaining a dazzling white smile. Highly recommend!

Pretty Good

The Colgate Optic White Express Whitening Pen does what it says, my teeth are definitely whiter, however, I did find the process rather cumbersome. You have to brush your teeth, dry them off, paint the product on, let it dry, wait an hour, and then brush it off. The reason I give it 4 stars is because this product feels a bit like re-inventing the wheel. The normal whitening strips I use seem to provide the same amount of whitening but work faster, less cumbersome process, more travel friendly and MUCH more economical in price. This was good, but not good enough to justify the higher cost.
