Review of the Colgate Unicorn Academy Toothpaste
My 11‑year‑old was so excited to try this toothpaste because she loves Unicorn Academy, and the packaging immediately grabbed her attention. She thought it looked awesome and was thrilled that it featured characters from the show.
Once she actually tried it, though, the experience didn’t match the excitement of the packaging. She didn’t like the texture and said it had a noticeably salty taste. She gave it a fair try for a couple of days, but ultimately wouldn’t use it after that.
The packaging is definitely a win for kids who love the show, but the flavor and texture just didn’t work for her

Excellent choice for kids

I received the Colgate cavity protection toothpaste in bubblegum flavor. To start with, toothpaste cover has an attractive image and creates an enthusiastic feeling among kids. Next, the bubblegum flavor is very popular among kids and my kiddo is one of them. Also, the toothpaste from a trusted brand with cavity protection is one of the reasons why I love it. As soon as I received it, my kid wanted to try immediately and moreover my kid started brushing twice a day. These are the features I expect in a toothpaste as a parent and I am very proud that I made an excellent choice by using this toothpaste every day and every single time!

Fun Idea, But Flavor Didn’t Work For Us

I really liked the idea of this toothpaste, especially with the Unicorn Academy theme - it is colorful and clearly designed to make brushing more fun for kids. The packaging is cute and it's great that it contains fluoride for proper cavity protection. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't go over well with my child. She described it as "sour" and refused to brush her teeth with it. The flavor can really make or break whether they are willing ot use it so that was a bit disappointing for us. That said, every child's taste preferences are different, so it may work well for others who enjoy the flavor. The concept and quality seem good but in our case the taste was just not a hit.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Very bubblegum, not fruity

This toothpaste has all of the benefits you would want from a toothpaste for your kid! The cavity protection, enamel safety, accepted by the ADA and FDA, Unicorn Academy picture and design, and even a fun green color of the paste! It is listed as a “mild” bubble fruit flavor, but it is VERY bubblegum. I tried it and didn’t think it was bad, it actually reminded me of a flavor or toothpaste I used as a kid! (90s millennial!) However, my daughter absolutely hated it. She still loves the design and talks about her unicorn toothpaste, however will cry if she uses it LOL. I would still recommend this product though because I feel like only downfall for us was a preference in taste.

Best Toothpaste Ever

This Colgate Unicorn Academy is more than a Kid toothpaste. This is a cavity protection formula that parents can trust, it is enamel safe and clinically proven to fight cavities and it is also available in pump, less mess. As a parent, I always encourage my kids to brush their teeth regularly, with this Colgate Unicorn Academy Toothpaste with fluoride, I do not have too. They love the mild Bubble Fruit flavor so much that they brush their teeth more than twice a day now. Growing adults love it too because it reduces buildup of plaque. It keeps my breath fresh, I love it and I recommend it to all parents.

My kids like this toothpaste!

My son and daughter really like using this Colgate kids toothpaste. The packaging is awesome & colorful, They love that it’s Unicorn Academy themed with the characters, they enjoyed watching it before on Netflix and can’t wait for the new season to come out March 19th. It’s easy to squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube onto their toothbrush. They like the bubble fruit flavor, they say it tastes good while brushing and then they spit it out. They brush their teeth with it twice a day sometimes a 3rd. The toothpaste seems to work great at helping protect against cavities and helps their mouth feel clean.

Toothbrushing Is Now Fun in Our House

Wright out of the box my daughter was so happy to get a toothpaste just for her. She recognized the unicorn Academy design on product ( her favorite show) and was excited to try it. Right away, she loved the bubblegum flavor. She now gets excited to brush her teeth. If I knew it would be this easy to get her to brush at least twice a day I would have brought this toothpaste on my own sooner. The tube is also a great size. I like how it is easy to squeeze the toothpaste out. It makes it simple for my child to use on her own. Overall, anything that gets my child excited to brush her teeth is win.

Daughter loves it

We usually buy Colgate tooth paste for my daughter. It is a brand we have been using on her for years. She was supper excited to try this one specifically because she loves the unicorn academy show. It is a new and fun packaging with a favorite flavor. She really likes the flavor of this tooth paste. I would recommend it.
