Prevident® 5000 Enamel Protect is a prescription strength toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Strengthens teeth and enamel, protects against acid erosion, and reverses early root cavities.
A dental caries preventive and sensitive teeth toothpaste, helps reduce the painful sensitivity of the teeth to cold, heat, acids, sweets or contact in adult patients and children 12 years of age and older.
This prescription toothpaste should be used twice daily in place of your regular toothpaste unless otherwise instructed by your dental professional. May be used in areas where drinking water is fluoridated since topical fluoride cannot produce fluorosis. (See WARNINGS for exception.)

Colgate President 5000 enamel protect reduce pain from sensitive teeth and prevent cavities.

My dentist suggested Colgate President 5000 enamel protect and I am so pleased with the results. I love my lemonade but the acid can cause damage to my teeth. After using Colgate President twice a day 3 times a week I have noticed a great difference in my oral hygiene. Sodium fluoride works by making teeth stronger and more resistant to decay caused by acid and bacteria, the potassium nitrate works by calming the nerves in the teeth. I give this product 5 stars.

These flouride treatments a few times a week with a better plan to keep teeth healthy and strong is very important for your teeths health. It is always important to eat healthy foods to process any unneeded minerals and vitamins that your body may not be need at time of consumption. I let it sit for the directions time dont drink or anything for adleast 20 minutes afters. Im wearing braces and to prevent bone loss on teeth jaws. I have this added to my arsenal for added protection. Salads are not as fun and will be Juicing alot more to keep going on .

I got this toothpaste prescribed by my dentist due to my sensitivity and gums bleeding. I’m using it for almost two months and see how much it helps with my problem. My gums stopped bleeding and hurting and I’m not feeling any pain anymore. The package is really handy, last for a long time. I’ll be definitely using it in a future.

I was recommended this by my dental hygienist. Who states that its a great toothpaste for those with weaken or pitted enamel. I didn't have bad sensitivity but my teeth feel stronger. And it doesnt need to be used daily just a few times a week to help strengthen enamel. Its a pricier toothpaste but it is effective.

Recommended by dental hygienist for the fluoride content/cavity prevention. No harmful side effects noted from ingredients. Mint taste is pleasant and price is affordable. Squeeze bottle works great.

Great product!

I was prescribed this product by the Dentist at MD Anderson Cancer Center after being on chemo long term after two of my teeth just all of a sudden crumbled without any warning or signs of problems. He told me it was caused by my chemo and this should help I have been on it for probably 10 years of my 11 year battle with incurable cancer and have not had any other teeth crumble. It also makes my teeth feel so clean. So if you are having similar issues from chemotherapy you might want to ask your dentist about prescribing this product to you.

My son used to have problems with his enamel because he drank a lot of juice when he was a toddler at night. It was a nightmare. The dentist prescribed prevident and it made a huge difference.

The toothpaste is good; the packaging stinks. Not having a screw on cap means it leaks all over when I travel.
